This thing ended up being more chaotic than the Federline & Spears marriage, thankfully no children were created.

I have night school after work tonight...I'll probably play 2-3 games when I get home around 11pm est.
I really like just hanging out in the dressing room, waiting for 1-2 guys to join...then just going.
i should be up for it whenever i get home from work, sometime after 5. i gotta edit my guy first.
I will be on 10:30. I went 1-3 personally playing with Derrik (sp?) and Marc. I was AMAZED on how smooth and unflawed the gameplay was. It was great playing with both of them.
I think when you have 2 defencemen as players and your wings CPU its hard to deal with the mad cherry pickin action some of the teams were dishing out. I think having at least one player be wing to have a chance at all.
I had to be reminded that once you play a few games you can upgrade your guy. I was getting outskated really bad and was getting mad why.
I cannot say enough about how amazing this game is and this online concept is truely unbelivale (can you tell im happy?) I look forward to playing with all of you.

Be home over lunch for a quick game, about 1:15 eastern and then after work at 5:45 Eastern.
eric...that's fine, i guess i like to be more organized, especially with my limited schedule on weekdays (1 game a night), i'll be doing that on Saturdays probably.
When there are 6 guys "in the lockeroom" waiting for a game if you pick last with your position, you are the goalie by default.
Does anyone else think its sweet when you get a penaly you watch the game from the box?

Oops sorry aron. I'd like to be more organized for sure. I was saying more so that I like the concept of the dressing room to meet up in when nothing is scheduled.
by the way...on another forum they posted to get your skillups you need to do online play - but not league. Anyone else here this?
eric...what other forum? it's a good idea...but for me, if i have time to play, i'd rather make it count.
I like how it works. If you want to schedule a 6 man game it might be better to pick a time, but if you are on and 2 other guys just go to the lockeroom and you can play for the blog whenever you want. I think the min is 2.

I saw it on the LGP forum, looking as well on the ea forum now.
The game times look to be 5 min periods.

i think it worked out well just waiting in the dressing room for people to show up and then jump into a game.
One thing is we need to do is stop swarming the puck and play our positions better. D in the slot, wingers on the sides etc. I noticed a lot of people just got the puck and ran to the goal rather than setting up the forecheck. I think these things will just work out with more play time.
once again...none of these things are enforced...so to each their own...i know some are allergic to organization and that's fine. If everyone hates this idea, i'll just scrap it.
what is the process of starting up a game? do you leave the dressing room and go somewhere else? what if 7 people go? is that possible
i'll work on it, i'll make a post, i haven't messed with the online yet at all, hopefully i'll get to tonight. i'll post so the xbox guys know too, we can throw them both together.

You go straight from the dressing room to the game. It's really cool. It will auto pair you with another team and away you go.

Do you always use the same position? I'm a better winger than D - I just meant I'll play anywhere if you need it...
I'll be on around 10 tonight... after kids hockey practice. Did anyone get the dualshock to vibrate? I only got to try one game last night... and could not find the option. If anyone can give me the exact path to find the setting, it would be greatly appreciated.

as you can see i've updated those changes...no poker you don't have to play the same position every time.
FYI - regarding team ranking.
"You get more points if you play with more human controlled players, so say you guys used 3 guys in all your games while the other team used all 6, every win earned them more points than you. The actual formula I don't know however. "

The letters represent how good that player is at their position. It takes time to get an A

I'm an A- in defensive positioning, and a B- in goal somehow. B- overall, not bad concidering how bad I played last night.

"You gain EXP in EASHL as well as OTP. It just takes a LOOOOONG time. This is meant to keep everyone level if you don't play all day everyday. Now, and I may be wrong on this part but, you only earn hockey cards by playing OTP. Those cards give a bonus shot of EXP. There are only 4 or 5 cards and the last one requires 150 games to be played. I'll double check on the cards tonight but in the meantime rock on in EASHL!"
in my only BAP game last night, i scored with 46 seconds left in the 3rd to tie the game...sadly the computer scored 25 seconds after that for the win, but man that was fun...also got called for a quick penalty on my first and only stick lift attempt on my first shift...which gives you an F for team play if you're counting at home. I finished with A-,B+,A+..so not too shabby, i'm not sure how i'm going to get 59 assists with Tim Wallace and Paul Bissonnette flanking me, but OK.
