Take it from someone that saw that shit-fest.
for the first time last night i was having lagging issues, and it even kicked me off twice, but the two games i did finish, we went 2-0 I had a 2g 2a first game and my first hat-trick in the second...tjenk was a beast in that second game.
In both games we managed to move the puck around, everyone seemed content to play a solid 2-way game and we played some decent looking, enjoyable hockey.
I would have posted stats today, if my yag fancy surge protector didn't decide to turn my PS3 and tv off the whole morning. If anyone wants to gather these and email them to me, i'd be more than happy to post them.

yesterday after i finished my second game the servers must have crashed. i couldn't check anything. now that being said......
we need to get more shots. we are doing good with hits and getting killed with shots. if you don't take shots, you can't score. secondly, we are bunching up way too often. we need to spread out and stay in position.
Great games last night. Aron... my job was easy... just feed you the puck and watch you bury it. That +4 was offset the next game though by a 5-0 beating by one of the top ranked teams in the EASHL. We won the physical battle though... they checked like girls and wouldn't throw down the gloves. I tell you never has a game been so frustrating and yet so fun at the same time. When I signed off we were creeping up on win 100. Anyone know if we got there?
The 6:00-8:00 shift was kicking some ass last night! 3-0, 1-0. I only played twice, but the other teams were manhandled. I am a "sniper" LW that thinks defense first - ha!
I finally feel like I have control of my guy and am causing more turnovers and scoring much more than last week.
I won't get there til a little after 7 tonight, but I'm looking forward to it again, guys!
i played in after noon and did pretty well
I liked playing with Aron because he used the point-men to his advantage.
One thing I notice is that we NEVER dump and chase. We have one guy try to deke through 3 and shoot himself rather than dump, and pound the piss out of the other team.... juss sayin'
I played that game against Unstoppable Force, and they were sick! They were tons faster than us and passed like nutty little squirrels. Most of them played over 60 games, therefore earning the next set of attribute points.
PolishSteel77, since you are the seasoned veteran - how many points upgrade do you get when you hit 60?
thanks paul...we had a pretty good one going. I do dump the puck in more than most guys, but i've noticed no one goes after it, including me...and i also wonder if somehow that counts as a turnover? which would suck and explain why i have so many...so i may need to fine tune that part of my game. my guess would be you get 5 attribute points, just based on the 3, 4, ? pattern so far.
After the depressing games the other night, i'm determined to play my best and take over when i need to...i definitely felt in the zone last night, too bad three of the games i either got kicked out/experienced major lag/ or other team quit. I won't be on tonight..but i'll see ya'll on Thursday. And then of course Friday and Saturday nights.
the only problem with dumping the puck is that either nobody goes to chase it or everybody goes to chase it leaving the D vunerable.

Was anyone in that game where the only goal bounced off my stupid head into the net while I was down to block a shot?
