inside sources that i have tell me that wal mart in robinson HAS the game.
they are not putting it on the shelves until 8:00am.
also my brother who pre-ordered the game from gamestop,
got a call tonight saying the game will be available for pickup tomorrow afternoon
any new information i will update the blog

fed-ex delivers the games
so it will vary when certain stores will get the games

Best Buy website says game is available for in store pickup

i went to over 10 stores today and got various answers
one guy at walmart told me they would be available after 6pm
another said not till tomorrow
best buy has changed their in store signs
they now say being released tomorrow

if you go to best buy's website you can check and see if they have it at any store as well.
i'll be calling best buy when they open at 10:00. i'm actually off today, so hopefully i'll have this by noon
i used to work at best buy. check the website. it's a lot quicker, trust me. it should come in with the ups drop ship this morning.
NHL 09 still "Unavailable" at local Best buys. That's according to their site.

I got it from Amazon, and the ship date is today, but it does not release until Wednesday (according to Game Stop). I am getting mine Friday and I have been practicing on the lack luster NHL 09 demo on PS3.

i called the best buy at century III and they said they MIGHT have it out at 2pm today
best buy has it in the add by 2. they will have it.
I got the same answer from the BB at PGH Mills. MAYBE by 2.
good lord, this is lame. same thing happened to me last year. skipped a days worth of classes to go get 08, walked around in the rain after taking the bus to the shopping center (it had best buy, walmart, and a gamestop) only to find out that nowhere would have it until the next day or so. fucking ea. failure to launch.
the closest best buy to me is like 30 minutes away
if i drive out there and they sell out of it before i make it i will kidnap mother fuckers and tie them up in my gimp room and feed them mayo and paint chips for the next six months
oh and add a rusty curling iron, 20 of my best friends, a Japanese business man with a lazy eye and a German Shepard to that equation.
i was at best buy at 10:30, they received 2k while i was there, but they said to come back at noon. I did that and they said they didn't have it yet and to try at 2:00. So now i'm waiting at home on an off day...kinda frustrating, but i'll get over it. I'll let you all know when i find out if they will get it...of course this is in Springfield, Missouri and will help none of you but whatev.

Century III best buy have 4 copies for every consol at 2...i just got out of class and they sold out...so 8 ppl on ps3 and 360 are playing it as i type.....bastards
our best buy said the ad was a misprint, and the game will ship tonight and be available tomorrow morning

I just got an automated call from GameStop saying to come in tomorrow afternoon to pick it up. at least we're getting it tomorrow!
Everywhere I went they were clueless. Shame on me for trying Toys 'R' Us.... there was some bitch working the game counter that looked to be more concerned about scoring crack than having a clue.
Tomorrow or bust... unless of course I hear of it being around tonight.
Went every place in my town, finally went to Gamestop and reserved a copy who told me it should be in tommorrow. So atleast that's solved, once work is over, I'll be on it all night tommorrow.

But regardless, the idiot on the phone knew nothing. I tried 2 best buy's, a circuit city, a gamestop, a walmart, and a target. All no's. Finally reserved for tomorrow at gamestop :(
Circuit City guy was like yea it came in, its at the front desk! Turned out to be 2k9...bleh!

bestbuys have em (bethel park). the gamestops in the south hills (centuryIII and clairton blvd) have a lot of copies in. The guy told me not to worry about them selling out at both locations.
